Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Advance Payment Terms

  • All advance amounts paid at the time of booking are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
  • This non-refundable condition applies to all packages, offers, and customised itineraries unless specifically mentioned otherwise in writing.
  • Failure to proceed with the trip for personal, medical, logistical, or any other reasons will result in automatic forfeiture of the advance amount.

2. Rescheduling Policy

Guests may request a rescheduling only in genuine emergency situations, and such requests must be supported by valid and verifiable documentation.

  • All rescheduling requests must be submitted a minimum of 7 days prior to the trip start date.
  • Only one rescheduling request per booking will be permitted under this policy.
  • Rescheduling remains subject to:
  • Availability of service partners (accommodation/transport/activity providers).
  • Seasonal demand and operational feasibility.
  • Additional charges may apply for date changes, tariff differences, or availability-related adjustments.
  • Failure to comply with the above conditions will result in the advance amount being forfeited.

3. Third-Party Vendor Policies

  • Certain components of your trip may be governed by the cancellation, refund, and rescheduling policies of third-party vendors (e.g., hotels, resorts, cab operators, activity providers, travel partners).
  • Wayanad Trip Planner LLP shall not be held responsible for:
  • Delays in refund processing by third parties.
  • Unfavourable decisions taken by third-party service providers.
  • Any refund amount receivable from third parties will be processed to the guest only upon receipt by Wayanad Trip Planner LLP.

4. Weather, Safety & Government-Related Cancellations

  • Activities may be cancelled, modified, or temporarily suspended due to:
  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Government restrictions
  • Safety alerts
  • Overcrowding or capacity control by authorities
  • Wayanad Trip Planner LLP will make reasonable efforts to arrange alternate activities; however:
  • No refund or compensation shall be payable for cancellations arising from weather or government actions.
  • In the rare event that Wayanad Trip Planner LLP cancels the entire trip for operational or safety reasons, guests will receive a full refund within 7 business days.

5. Sightseeing & Activity Limitations

  • Some attractions operate with fixed schedules, restricted timings, or weekly holidays (e.g., Edakkal Caves remain closed on Mondays).
  • Ecotourism, wildlife, or adventure activities may be suspended during periods of heavy rainfall, landslides, or unsafe travel conditions.
  • Guests may modify sightseeing plans in consultation with their assigned driver or trip coordinator, depending on local feasibility and real-time conditions.
  • Entry fees, queue delays, and ticket unavailability at high-demand attractions are beyond the control of Wayanad Trip Planner LLP.

6. Non-Refundable Conditions

  • The advance amount for all trip packages is non-refundable under all circumstances, except when Wayanad Trip Planner LLP initiates a cancellation.
  • Unutilised services, missed sightseeing, or guest-initiated itinerary changes are not eligible for refunds.
